The American Veterinary Medical Association recently shared this information with CVMA: On November 25, the FDA sent warning letters to 15 companies for illegally selling various products containing cannabidiol. Violations cited in those letters include marketing unapproved new human and animal drugs, selling CBD products as dietary supplements, and adding CBD to human and animal foods. CVMA member Dr. Ingram (Colorado State '52), 94, Fort Collins, Colorado, died May 26, 2019. Following graduation, he practiced mixed animal medicine for five years in Saratoga, Wyoming.
