The CVMA Nominating Committee has nominated the candidates below for roles on the CVMA Board of Directors for 2021-2022. In accordance with the CVMA Bylaws, the CVMA membership may put forth a candidate by petition with the signature of 2.5% of the voting DVM membership (or 44 members) within 14 days of this notice. Two new professional DVM members (including a CVMA member) and 1 new public member joined the Colorado State Board of Veterinary Medicine on July 1, 2021. The new members were appointed by Governor Polis. CVMA member Ann Brandenburg-Schroeder, DVM, passed away from ALS on June 28, 2021. Dr. Brandenburg-Schroeder was president of CVMA from 1993-1994 -- she was the association's first female president.
