Keeping Your Pets Safe from Substances

Everyone at CVMA wants to help keep pets safe. People aren’t the only ones who can overdose on opioids, alcohol, and marijuana; even very small amounts of these substances adversely affect pets, too. Although people may enjoy the effects of recreational substances, pets do not understand what is happening to them and often experience a great deal of fear. These public safety videos offer tips on keeping pets safe from opioids, marijuana, and alcohol.

Thanks to Colorado State University, Daisy Chain Productions, and Intervention Community Correction Services for making these public safety announcements possible!
