Education and a winter vacation.

Created in the early 1960s, SkiCE is one of CVMA’s longest running continuing education programs. Each January, this meeting brings veterinary professionals together to enjoy Colorado’s world-class mountain towns and to learn from some of the top minds in veterinary medicine. With education in the early morning and afternoon, attendees have plenty of time to hit the slopes, play in the snow, or just enjoy some free time. SkiCE offers veterinarians and technicians quality continuing education credit as well as a family-friendly experience at one of the world’s premier ski resorts.

 Speaker

Erin Epperly, DVM, DACVR

After receiving her DVM from Colorado State University in 2007, Dr. Epperly practiced for eight years in a rural, mixed animal veterinary clinic in Fowler. She was active in CVMA leadership, serving as President in 2015. She then attended Cornell University for her radiology residency and was board certified in 2018. Dr. Epperly stayed on at Cornell as an Assistant Clinical Professor and was named teacher of the year in 2019. Dr. Epperly left academia in 2020 to pursue various private practice ventures, including time working with AI technology. She joined VetCT in April 2020 and continues to participate in teleradiology, teaching, and travel (most recently to live in Australia for a year).

Dr. Epperly’s family loves skiing as much as she loves the CVMA, which is why she is so excited to present at SkiCE this year!
