The Colorado Academy of Veterinary Practice (CAVP) was created to encourage, recognize, and honor Colorado veterinarians who exceed licensure requirements for continuing education credits. The program sponsors, the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) and the Denver Area Veterinary Medical Society (DAVMS), appreciate and applaud the efforts of everyone who has participated in CAVP over the years.
We regret to inform you that the program has been eliminated. The current economic climate has required the associations to make difficult decisions on the types and scope of the programs that are offered. Given the limited number of members who participated in CAVP, the organizations find it difficult to allocate resources to continue the program.
If you have questions about the associations’ decision to conclude CAVP, please contact Ralph Johnson at 303.318.0447 or RalphJohnson@colovma.org.
While we sincerely regret having to eliminate the program, we thank you for your dedication to the profession and your participation in CAVP.
